Lucy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and licensed Family Paws Educator. Her lifelong passion for strengthening the relationship between people and their animal companions led her to earn a Master’s degree in Animal Behavior & Conservation at Hunter College and a dog training apprenticeship with Andrea Arden Dog Training in NYC. After moving back to Vermont in 2017, Lucy started her own dog training company, Dogspeak, and she now helps clients with dog training issues from new puppy potty training to leash reactivity to shy dog confidence building. In her training methodology, Lucy relies on the scientific principles of animal learning/behavior and positive reinforcement. She’s so excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the families in the GROW community who are looking for guidance in building lifelong safe and positive relationships between their fur & human babies. Lucy lives in Ferrisburgh with her husband, their two dogs, and their toddler. Contact Lucy for private classes or visit her website for more information.
