Sleep Support Services
Happy, healthy sleep is an important milestone for all babies, and comes easier to some families than others. GROW partners with Rachael Gelinaeu of Champlain Doula to facilitate support for families who need more tools to help navigate sleep challenges. As a certified pediatric sleep consultant, Rachael knows there is no “one size fits all” method and uses gentle, evidence-based techniques to find a sleep solution that fits for your entire family. Her philosophy centers around getting to know your baby, their rhythm and their communication so you can understand their needs and help them sleep.

About Rachael Gelineau and her philosophy
Rachael is GROW’s in-house certified pediatric sleep consultant and overnight postpartum doula, helping us make sure our GROW community is supported not just during the daytime but at night as well!
Her experience and expertise center around overnight support – helping families get the sleep they need while helping their little ones build a solid foundation for future sleep success. She is a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management, a certified lactation counselor through the Healthy Children’s Project, and has been working in our community for the past 10 years as a postpartum doula. She has a particular love of helping families with multiples, and has extensive experience with twins.
As a Certified Sleep Consultant, Rachael works with each family to find a gentle sleep solution that matches their family values and dynamics. The foundation of her philosophy is communication – encouraging parents to really listen to their babies and learn how they communicate their different needs and experiences. Building on that solid foundation of attachment, she works with parents to find a plan that supports their child to develop self regulating skills so they can confidently fall asleep on their own, knowing their parents will be there for them if they need them. This not only helps little ones feel rested, but also allows parents to get sleep that is so important to their own health and mental wellbeing.
Rachael lives in Essex with her husband, two sons, their housemate, and a menagerie of house cats. They can often be found hiking, playing tabletop roleplaying games, and participating in the local branch of a historical reenactment society.
